  • Bernice P Bishop Museum, Honolulu, Hawai‘i
    Bishop Museum staff, Allen Allison and Rich Pyle, put the database on the web in 2003. The Museum hosts the website, and its staff have provided many identifications.
  • United Nations Development Programme
    UNDP Multi Country Office in Samoa for Cook Islands, Niue, Samoa & Tokelau. The database benefited from several short-term visits by taxonomists under the UNDP-funded NBSAP and NBSAP Add-on Enabling Activites.
  • Pacific Basin Information Node (PBIN)
    The Pacific Basin Information Node is a regional node of the National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII). The mission of NBII is to collect and organize biological data from the U.S. and make it available to scientists, resource managers, policy-makers, educators and the general public.
  • NZ Agency for International Development
    This agency enabled the Natural Hertiage Project to employ a database assistant for two years.
  • Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation
    This agency supported the fledgling Natural Heritage Project with essential equipment, such as cameras, printers, and the Oxford English Dictionary on CD!
