More Information

IDENTIFICATION: Medium moth (19-20mmTL) generally dark brown or greyish brown with sigmoid cell spot. Fore wings dark brown or greyish brown with black sigmoid cell spot edged in buff inwardly and one specimen has a fine wavy line from cell spot to hind margin. Hind wings dark brown or greyish brown with suggestion of faint transverse lines. Underside dark brown with single medial line crossing fore and hind wings. Head, Thorax, Abdomen and Legs dark brown or greyish brown as wings. Antennae brown. Diagnosed by sigmoid cell spot.
