General Information

COMMON NAMES: Azore's Jasmine

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Azores (east Atlantic)

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Slender woody vine. LEAVES opposite, compound, 3 leaflets; LEAFLETS oval, to 5cm, sharp tip. FLOWERS terminal clusters; white, nocturnal, fragrant; each 3cmØ, 5-6 oval petals, tube 3mm long; calyx teeth 5, 2mm long.
