GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Tuamotu; n. to s.Japan; s. to New Caledonia.

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore

KEY FEATURES: Black and pale striped small fish.
