COMMON NAMES: Bluelined Large-eye Bream, Robinson's Sea Bream; French Bossu à Lignes Bleues, Bossu Blanc Grosse Race

TRADITIONAL NAMES: ‘Īroa (RR)

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Tuamotu; n. to s.Japan; s. to New Caledonia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore, outer reef-slope 50-100m

KEY FEATURES: To 80cm. /Silvery body, fins yellowish edges. Blue squiggly lines on snout and cheek.
