General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Sri Lanka - Societies, Hawai‘i; n. to Japan; s.to New Zealand

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, epiphyte

KEY FEATURES: Plants slender thread-like, or forming thin mats on decaying wood or bark. Stems iregularly ed, pale - white-green. Setae to 2cm long, smooth, reddish; capsule inclined to pendulous. Spores green smooth.
