SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Ornamental flowers
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Potential invasive?. Comments: Naturalised and invasive Hawaii. Does not develop seeds in Hawaii, spreads vegetatively; cut and broken sections readily root.
GENERAL NOTE: After six years growing in Takuvaine Valley not known to produce any seeds nor suckers. [GMcC 3/2001] Known as a serious invasive weed in Hawaii.
