COMMON NAMES: Striped Goby

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE New Guinea - Cook Islands (to confirrm); n. to Philippines; s. to s.Cooks

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group. (AK) PLUS:; Marine, near-shore, reef-flat sandy areas

KEY FEATURES: To 4cm. Pale green-brown dorsal; broad black stripe from eye to tail-base; cream below. Typically rests at about 30° to horizontal.
