TAXONOMY: ANIMALIA; CHORDATA; GNATHOSTOMATA (Jawed Vertebrates); PISCES; OSTEICHTHYES; Perciformes; Labroidei; LABRIDAE, Julidini
IDENTIFICATION: 18cm SL. Females and males very similar. Dark brown with black-edged pale blue spots except lower head and breast are uniformly yellow; Pectoral and Pelvic Fins yellow. Large eye-spots on posterior Dorsal and Anal Fins - blue with submarginal black-ring. Dorsal, Anal and Tail with blue margin.
