General Information

COMMON NAMES: Leopard Blenny, Leopard Rockskipper; French Blennie Léopard, Blennie Ponctuée de Rouge

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE e.Africa - Marquesas; s.Japan - Rapa

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Marine, near-shore,; on branching corals, seaward reefs to 20m

KEY FEATURES: 15cm Body red-brown with dark leopard-like spots (ie. dense clusters of small spots making large spots); head paler with dark spots. Lives on within branching corals.
