General Information

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: se.Asia - Marquesas, Hawai‘i, (possibly New World tropics)

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native?, Introduced?; Land, lowlands - mountains; On ground, under rocks and logs and in litter

KEY FEATURES: xxx BodyL. CEPHALOTHORAX: Ovate, narrower in front, dark red-brown. ABDOMEN: Elliptical, greyish to red-brown, in male with a red-brown anterior median scutum. LEGS: Red-brown with many dark spines. EYES: Eight in two rows of four. WEB: None.

SIMILAR SPECIES: Juveniles have the shape of Clubiona, but are differently colored.
