COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; Land, gardens; on orchids

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; Serious pest - localised

KEY FEATURES: Black, 6mmTL, drops and plays-dead.

SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Serious pest - localised. Comments: First noted in a garden in October 2000, found in many Dendrobium species, all were destroyed. Spraying programme implemented. Not found in any other garden. Further outbreak original garden March 2002.
