COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group; Land, in carpets

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: ; woollen materials (larvae)

KEY FEATURES: ADULT 2-4mm TL, oval to round with conspicuous dorsal scales, feed on flower nectar and pollen. LARVAE ovoid, feed on woollen materials.

SIGNIFICANCE NOTES -
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: woollen materials (larvae). Comments: Larvae attack woollen materials.

IDENTIFICATION: Anthrenus spp. 2-4mm TL. ADULT: oval to round, conspicuous dorsal scales. LARVAE small and ovoid. Larvae attack woollen materials; adults feed on flower nectar and pollen.
