IDENTIFICATION: Orange-red ladybird with many small black spots, to 7mmBL. PRONOTUM with 5 black spots, central 3 conspicuous, lateral 2 often obscure. WING-COVER (each) with 13-14 spots, the variable spot being dorsolateral on the front margin, the spots vary from relatively large to small.
