General Information

COMMON NAMES: Banyan Jumping-Moth

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, lowlands; on native banyan

KEY FEATURES: Small day-active moth, that walks jerkily and rockets when disturbed. Dance with head down and wings up is a feature of this genus. 7mm TL. LARVAE feed in groups, skeletonising banyan leaves.
