TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); ASTERIDAE; Scrophulariales; BIGNONIACEAE
IDENTIFICATION: Woody vine with showly clusters of flowers. LEAVES compound, 2 leaflets w/wo central tendril; LEAFLETS oval to 12cm, garlic smell when crushed. FLOWERS large clusters; each a funnel to 6cm; to 6cmØ; petals 5, round with nipple, purple fading to mauve.
