General Information

COMMON NAMES: Sedge Planthopper, Cyperus Planthopper

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group - widespread; Land, lowlands

KEY FEATURES: Very small bug to 4mmTL. HEAD dark brown. THORAX dark brown with pale hind-tip. FOREWINGS translucent brown with some areas very pale, and a dark blotch on centre of leading-edge, veins with row of widely-spaced bristles.
