COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands, Gardens

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Small shrub to 1m. STEM 4-angled. LEAVES opposite, oval, to 9x4cm, tip sharp, edge with fine teeth; fragrant. FLOWERS terminal cluster, one in each axil; slender tube to 3cm, with 2 large lobes each to 3cmØ; blue to violet-blue with white throat.
