Lobopterella dimidiatipes (Bolivar, 1890)
TAXONOMY: ANIMALIA; ARTHROPODA; ATELOCERATA; HEXAPODA; INSECTA; PTERYGOTA; Blattodea; BLATTELLIDAE
IDENTIFICATION: Small slender cockroach with entire white margin, to 9x3mm(LxW). HEAD face dark with white edge. THORAX 3 segments, 1st NOT covering head, white margin; 2nd wing-covers meet midline and mainly hide 3rd segment. ABDOMEN all segments with white margin; cerci tip white. LEGS white with small dark patches near some joints.

Pukapuka: 2 specimens+photo, 2/2004, Wale, forest under logs, G.McCormack with ID based on BPBM specimens as Lobopterella dimidiatipes 5/2004.
