COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; S.Group - RR only, rare; N.Group - absent; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: grafting stock, Food (Fruit 0+)

KEY FEATURES: Small tree to 8m. LEAVES alternate, oblong, to 15x5cm. FLOWERS in axils, cream, fragrant. FRUIT ovoid, to 10x7cm, ripening yellow, pulp insipid and fragrant.

IDENTIFICATION: Small tree to 8m. LEAVES alternate, ovate to oblong, to 15x5cm, base round. FLOWERS solitary in axils; fragrant; petals outer to 3cm, cream with red or yellow spot within. FRUIT ovoid, to 10x7cm, smooth, ripening yellow; pulp insipid, peach to orange, fragrant.
