Sceliphron laetum (F.Smith 1856)
SYNONYMS: Pelopaeus laetus F. Smith, 1856
TAXONOMY: ANIMALIA; ARTHROPODA; ATELOCERATA; HEXAPODA; INSECTA; PTERYGOTA; Hymenoptera; Apocrita; Aculeata; Apoidea; SPHECIDAE
GENERAL NOTE: This species established a colony in Guam after accompanying a ship from Solomons, a distance of 3,000km (Krombein, 1945b, in Kuhlmann 2006). It is therefore uncertain how much of its range is native and how much due to accidental introduction by human activities.
