COMMON NAMES: Ocellated Dragonet

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Indonesia - Marquesas and Oeno (Pitcairn); s. to GBR

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group - rare; N.Group ?; Marine, near-shore, 1-30m

KEY FEATURES: To 7cmSL. Sexes dissimilar - Male 1st Dorsal much higher than 2nd, and brightly marked; Female 1st D lower than 2nd, and dull marked.
