COMMON NAMES: Polka Dot Plant, Measles Plant, Flamingo Plant, Freckle Face, Pink Dot

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Madagascar

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental leaves

KEY FEATURES: Shrub to 1.5m. STEM slender, dark green, hairy. LEAVES ovate, to 5cm, downy, dark green with pink spots. FLOWERS in axils, two-lipped, 25mmTL, deep pink to rosy-purple.
