General Information

COMMON NAMES: Yellow-spotted Slug, Yellow Cellar Slug, Tawny Garden Slug

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Spain - Italy - Greece; EXOTIC EXOTIC circumtropical and temperate, incl. NZ

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group only (Rarotonga so far); Land

KEY FEATURES: Slug to 10cmBL. With distinctive yellow spots and yellow mucous, and the mantle reaches close to the base of the tentacles.
