COMMON NAMES: Tinyfly (midge)

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native or Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; Land, lowlands

KEY FEATURES: Tiny, to 1.5mmBL. Creamy white with large black eyes, and black leg-joints. Wings fold flat on back. Antennae with long hairs.
