COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group - present; N.Group ?; Marine, near-shore, benthic, attached

KEY FEATURES: Thick encrustation with smooth cartilage-like surface, single raised apical oscule; colour in life white surface mottled with pale brown patches, interior tan; outer rind-like ectosome detachable.
