GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Palau, American Samoa, Cooks

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; S.Group - present; N.Group ?; Marine, near-shore, benthic, attached

KEY FEATURES: Very thinly encrusting fragile sponge with no oscules visible, colour in life white, turns black on exposure to air.
