COMMON NAMES: Wild Mushroom

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group only (Rarotonga - only); N.Group - absent; Land, Saprobic

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: decomposer, probably edible

KEY FEATURES: To 7cmØ and 7cmH. CAP to 7cmØ, white, smooth, slightly convex; GILLS free, pink, forked. STALK to 50mmHx15Ø, thick and short; base slightly expanded; VEIL(=annulus) one?, conspicuous. Growing in compost heap.
