SYNONYMS: Adenostemma lavenia [sensu]
TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); ASTERIDAE; Asterales; ASTERACEAE
GENERAL NOTE: ACSmith indigenous in Fiji; Wagner et.al. indigenous in Hawaii (under broader name lavenia), and type was collected Tahiti by Forster on Cook's Second Voyage. For Rarotonga listed in 1899 as not rare in cultivations and in forest (at the same time Ageratum conyzoides was noted as an aggressive weed), but not listed in the 1920s by Wilder.
