COMMON NAMES: Trapezoid Maidenhair-fern, Diamond Maidenhair, Giant Maidenhair

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Mexico - Venezuela, Caribbean; EXOTIC EXOTIC circumtropical

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; Land

KEY FEATURES: Spreading fronds to 1m high. STEM glossy, black, dividing 3x. LEAVES trapezoid, 3x2cm; 2 margins smooth, 2 margins with narrow lobes with margins folded underneath covering the sori; stalk very slender, to 1cm.
