SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: A tufted reed-like orchid to 2.5m with alternate grasslike leaves and large terminal flowers. LEAVES alternate, firm, grasslike, 30x1.5cm. FLOWERS terminal, long-cluster, short-lived, 8cmØ, mauve with yellow throat and purple lip.
