General Information

COMMON NAMES: One-sided Asplenium

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (+), wet stream banks

KEY FEATURES: Small fern on wet rocks, to 15cm. FROND STALK black, arise along the root (=rhizome). FROND BLADE triangular, with leaves (=pinnae) on each side; PINNAE to 20x7mm, basal section distinctly on one-side of midvein; SORI under a long narrow flap on a vein.
