COMMON NAMES: Cauliflower

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE se.Europe - Mediterranean

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands, gardens

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Food (Leaf 2+)

KEY FEATURES: A globose plant to 25cm. STEM erect with rosette of large basal leaves and a alrge terminal cluster of undeveloped flowers, which are eaten. Not easily grown in the tropics.
