GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE s.India - Sri Lanka

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Erect shrub to 1m. LEAVES: glossy, dark green, to 12cm. FLOWERS: clusters, salmon-pink to bright orange, narrow tube flares into a lip 3cm long with 3-5 lobes.
