COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental leaves

KEY FEATURES: A stemless herb with clusters of long plaited leaves to 2m. LEAVES plaited, hairy, oblanceolate, 90x15cm; stalk ????cm. FLOWERS clustered on 20cm stalk; bracts, hairy, brown, 3cm; perianth lobes 8mm, yellow, tube short.
