TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); LILIOPSIDA (=Monocotyledones); LILIIDAE; Orchidales; ORCHIDACEAE
GENERAL NOTE: Dendrobium is a large genus of orchids with more than 1,400 species. Vanuatu has 25 indigenous species, and Fiji has 22 species.
