COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Naturalised; S.Group only (Rarotonga only); Land, lowlands

SIMILAR SPECIES: Dichanthium aristatum [in Fiji, not yet in Cooks] has hairy stalk below racemes (vs. hairless); racemes usually two (vs. usually one).
