SIMILAR SPECIES: Sykes says all radicosa of the Cooks are in fact Digitaria ciliaris.

SYNONYMS: Digitaria timorensis [incl. GW]; Digitaria sanquinalis [sensu]; Panicum radicosa

TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); LILIOPSIDA (=Monocotyledones); COMMELINIDAE; Cyperales; POACEAE. COMMENT: All specimens of this species from the Cooks are probably Digitaria ciliaris (Rhys Gardner, via B.Sykes 2006/7)
