POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Food (Fruit 0+). Comments: Formerly used to make jam (on Rarotonga).
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Injurous spines - moderate
GENERAL NOTE: The ripe fruit can be eaten, but is mainly used to make jams and curries.
