SYNONYMS: Miscanthus floridulus X Saccharum officinarum [probably]; Miscanthosaccharum maximum; Erianthus floridulus [mistakenly]
TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); LILIOPSIDA (=Monocotyledones); COMMELINIDAE; Cyperales; POACEAE
Vouchers:
Mangaia: field-specimen, very bristly, 199?, drawings+photos, G.McCormack; fieldspecimen+photo, 2006/6, up past pump, in flower, flowers separating but without seeds, G.McCormack. Ma‘uke: field-specimen+photos, showm by Clem, very bristly, NBSAP 2001, same as plant in Mangaia, G.McCormack Aitutaki: field-specimen+photos, on top of Maungapu, without bristles, 199?, G.McCormack a very different part that that of Mangaia and Ma‘uke.
