GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Indonesia - n.Australia

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Lily to 50cm. LEAVES basal cluster; wide-oval to heart-shaped, to 30cm; stalk to 30cm. FLOWERS 5-25 clustered on stalk to 70cm; white, tube to 4cm; petals (=tepals) 6, ascending, to 4cm; not fragrant. FRUIT round, 1-seeded.
