Geniostoma sykesii Fosberg & Sachet
TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; ANTHOPHYTA (=Angiospermae); MAGNOLIOPSIDA (=Dicotyledones); ASTERIDAE; Gentianales; GENIOSTOMACEAE. COMMENT: Formerly LOGANIACEAE, but similarities due to parallelism (Mabberley)
GENERAL NOTE: Traditionally the dried fragrant leaves use as ‘ei, and used to scent coconut oil.(AW90)
