GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE New Caledonia - Australs

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (+++)

KEY FEATURES: Woody herb to 50cm. STEMS 4-angled. LEAVES opposite, elliptic to 9x2cm, tapering to each end, glossy, green; stalk short. FLOWERS in clusters dense to open; flower 6mmØ; calyx green with 4 lobes; corolla white, funnel-like with 4 spreading lobes. FRUIT urn-shaped, 4mmØ, with many tiny seeds.
