GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE New Guinea - Solomons

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental Stems

KEY FEATURES: STEMS (=cladodes) green, flat, and jointed. LEAVES narrow and small. FLOWERS small, on alternate joints.
