Humata banksii Alston
SYNONYMS: Davallia pectinata [TC]; Humata pectinata [GW]
TAXONOMY: PLANTAE; PTERIDOPHYTA (=Pterophyta); Aspidiales; DAVALLIACEAE
IDENTIFICATION: Small, epiphytic fern, to 15cm. ROOT slender, with fronds well-spaced. FRONDS flat and triangular, to 15cm long; LEAFLETS ladderlike without a stalk; undivided, except basal ones which have lobes. SORI on all leaflets of fertile frond; underside in row along each edge; each covered by kidney-shaped indusium.
