GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Florida - Paraquay

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands, gardens

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Shrub to 5m. LF heart-shaped, FL corolla 9cm long, flared to 11cmØ, pink to purple. Ipomoea carnea fistulosa differs in having narrow-oval leaves.
