GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Madagascar

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental (Flower/Leaf)

KEY FEATURES: Upright succulent to 50cm. LEAVES oval; dark-green, glossy; toothed margins; to 8cm. FLOWERS erect terminal clusters; small; scarlet or yellow; petal-tube 5mm with 4 lobes.
