General Information

COMMON NAMES: Rock Clubmoss, Water Tassel-fern

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Madagascar - India - Indonesia - Societies; n. to Japan; s. to Rapa (Australs)

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Native; Land, mountains (++)

KEY FEATURES: Branches to 40cm, arching to 20cm elevation. STEM round, to 4mmØ, covered in green bristle-like leaves, to 10x2mm, in whorls of ~6. FERTILE sections, terminal, whorls of 5, with sporangia in axil.
