COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent, Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Ornamental flowers

KEY FEATURES: Evergreen tree to 25m. LEAVES alternate, oval, to 21x9cm, thick, above glossy green, below dull red-brown, edge smooth, tip obtuse, base obtuse; stalk to 4cm. FLOWERS terminal, to 25cmØ, sepals 3 petal-like, petals 6-12 oval, to 12x9cm, creamy white; fragrant.
