COMMON NAMES: Spanish Lime, Genip [based on Caribbean name]; French Quenettes

TRADITIONAL NAMES: Kōneti (RR AK), Koneti^ (AT); Other Polynesian - Kōneti (TAH); COMMENT: Kōneti is Tahitian, based on the French Quenettes.

GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION: NATIVE Caribbean

COOK ISLANDS STATUS: Introduced - Recent (1915 from Jamaica), Not naturalised; Land, lowlands

SIGNIFICANCE LIST: Food (Fruit 0+)
